So far we have completed half of the course during AS which is 200/400 points in total. Now that we have started A2 we need to begin the other half of the course.
This year we have two halves to the course, the first half being the Advanced Portfolio which is worth 100 points.
- This will involve producing a main artefact, two ancillary artefacts and an accompanying blog containing your research, planning and evaluation materials.
The main artefact that we have been set to produce this year is a music video, the two ancillary artefacts being; to create a cover design for its realease on DVD and a magazine advertisement for the DVD.
The Deadline for this is in 13 weeks.
The second half of this course is the Critical Perspectives in Media (Media Theory)
which is also worth 100 marks.
There are two sections;
A - Theoretical Evaluation of Production (50 marks)
B - Contemporary media issues (50 marks)
